your projects: january and february

Another round of inspiring projects from our creative community! Whether you're new to sewing or a seasoned pro, there's always something amazing to discover. I grabbed my favorite warm drink and settled in to check out what our talented customers have been working on lately—projects shared throughout January and February.  The first batch features some fantastic creations from Liesl + Co. patterns. Each project feels unique, so it’s hard not to get excited about trying them yourself. Creations #### Top Row: - Anna Price Lazarus from the Facebook group crafted this chic Gallery Tunic that caught everyone's eye. - @emsquattish designed their own crepe fabric and used it to sew a stunning Terrace Dress. - The Everyday Skirt by @molly_moo_and_jessica traveled all the way from Kazakhstan to find its perfect home. - @projectleeway created a luxurious wool/cashmere Lisette using Butterick B6244. #### Bottom Row: - @sbsewshares made an impressive tweed Chaval Coat. - @maiawpz sewed this timeless Classic Shirt completely by hand—a true testament to patience and skill. - @lotuspeachblog brought warmth with a color-blocked Neighborhood Hoodie. - Meredith tailored matching Liberty shirts for her son and husband using Oliver + S Buttoned-Up Button-Down Shirt and Liesl + Co. All Day Shirt patterns. --- ### Oliver + S Highlights Our Oliver + S family also had a fantastic month full of creativity. These projects showcase how versatile these patterns can be. #### Top Row: - @mm_lam combined sunny orange with summery stripes for a reversible bucket hat that’s both playful and practical. - @mangosteenha crafted an angel costume using the Building Block Dress Book—perfect for holiday festivities or imaginative play. - The School Photo Dress by @grapefruit.handmade highlights a beautiful color palette that’s sure to turn heads. #### Middle Row: - @mariajsanroman took on the Lullaby Layette challenge, making several sets including this adorable upcycled bodysuit. - @nicolekel_74 paired a fox-print fabric with a ruby-red lining for a Messenger Bag that’s both stylish and functional. - @moonlightseamstress blended Playtime Leggings with a hacked School Bus T-Shirt for a cool, customized look. #### Bottom Row: - @francessuzanne’s zebra appliqué tank from the Pinwheel Tunic + Dress pattern adds a touch of whimsy to any outfit. - Valentina Kachanovskaya (from Facebook) stitched up a classic trench coat using the Secret Agent Trench Coat pattern—definitely a wardrobe staple. - @apinchofsewing hacked our Lunch Box Tee pattern into a peplum tee using sweater-knit sloth fabric, proving that creativity knows no bounds. --- These collections never fail to spark ideas for my own sewing projects.
