Twelve years ago, Jinzhihua acquired the rights to the French GOLDBOY brand in Greater China. The company aimed to establish a strong presence in the Chinese menswear market but faced challenges and failed to achieve significant breakthroughs. Eventually, the focus shifted toward the development and production of undergarments. However, for Chairman Xiao Zhanhong, managing his own brand has always been a long-held dream. To make this vision a reality, Mr. Lin Shuimu, the general manager of Jinzhihua, led his team through eight years of relentless effort. Under his leadership, the products reached industry-leading standards, and the team was built into an unbreakable force—like the Great Wall of Steel. All of these efforts were driven by one ultimate goal: the rise of the GOLDBOY gold brand.

In 2008, Jinzhihua officially launched the Kim Son brand strategy. By 2009, the company began researching and developing a full range of products while also building a talent pool for effective brand management. In 2010, when Kim Kung-ko made its official market debut, the marketing theme “Leader Dance 2010” was introduced. This campaign symbolized the bold ambitions and confident vision of Jinzhihua’s leadership in the competitive apparel industry.

Over the years, Jinzhihua has continuously evolved, adapting to market demands and focusing on innovation. The journey from acquiring a foreign brand to building a strong domestic identity has been both challenging and rewarding. Today, GOLDBOY stands as a symbol of resilience, quality, and ambition. With a solid foundation and a clear vision, the brand is well-positioned to continue its growth and success in the ever-changing fashion landscape.
