Hermès’ operating income rose by 21.9% in the first half of the year

Hermes, the French luxury brand, recently announced its financial statements for the first half of the year. Its operating income for the first half of the year reached 1.59 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 21.9%, slightly higher than expected.

In terms of sales territory, Hermès’ operating income increased by 25% in the first half of Asia (mainly China, Hong Kong, and Singapore) except Japan; in Japan, it was 3%; revenue in Europe outside of France increased by 21%; Revenue increased by 10%; revenue in the Americas increased by 9%.

From the product classification point of view, the brand's revenue in the first half of the year increased by 10%. Perfume increased by 12.7%, silk by 14.6%, Clothing by 21.1%, watches by 22.8%, and other accessories and household items by 49.9%.
